We do not have homework to turn in daily in first grade.  The most important thing is to encourage your child to read daily!

Reading
Read 15 minutes each night.  Read to self, read to someone, or read with a family member.  
Practice sight words.

Math
Play math games.  
Practice math facts.  
Review completed workbook pages.

Social Studies, Science, and special projects
Occasionally we will ask students to complete special projects or activities.  Information will be sent home with any of these type of activities.
